Press, news and stories
What you say matters as much as what you throw. The press remembers, rivals take note, and a season is full of choices that have nothing to do with the board.
The press#
The Media section holds interviews and press requests. After a big match there is a post-match interview; before the majors there is a press conference.
- How you answer moves your confidence, your followers, your public image and how sponsors and rivals see you.
- The papers remember what you said, and so do the players you said it about.
- There is no single right answer: modesty, swagger and silence each have their place.
Rivals#
Rivalries build from matches and from words. Rivals and rising stars react to you: to your results, your ranking and what you say. A rivalry makes the meeting bigger for both of you.
The news#
News is what is happening in the darts world: results, ranking moves, new deals, retirements, and stories about you and your rivals. Nothing in it needs an answer; it is how you follow the players you will meet. Search and filters help you find a name.
The inbox and stories#
Messages arrive from tours, sponsors, your team and the press. Some only inform; some ask for a decision, and time waits until you make it.
Stories land all season long: off-season training camps, grudges, family, offers, opportunities and setbacks. Each comes with choices, and the choices have consequences, sometimes long after.
Followers#
Your followers grow with your results, your appearances and how you come across. They are on the hub’s top bar, and sponsors watch them closely.
